A haven of exclusive tranquillity close to England’s warmest and most southerly point, this stunning coastal cottage provides luxury self-catering accommodation in a unique setting. The house has a superb location overlooking the Cornish coast and commands breathtaking sea and coastal views. Situated at the northern tip of the Lizard peninsula (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Sea Cottage is an idyllic location for coastal walks, a perfect hideaway on the coast, and ideal for a small house party, anniversary or special family occasion.

Inside

• Style: Light-filled and bedecked with wood and stone, the cottage is both cosy and contemporary.
• Bedrooms: Accommodation consists of one twin, one master king-size, one double bedroom and one double/twin downstairs. There are three bathrooms.
• For relaxation: When the sun shines enjoy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the sea, or on colder days kick back by the log fire with a good book and a glass of wine.
  For recreation: The lounge has a television, Sky, video, DVD, and hi-fi.
• Practicalities: Washing machine and dryer; logs and coal supplied for the fire; housekeeper twice a week.

Outside

Beautiful gardens littered with exotic hardy shrubs and flowers. Steps lead down to a pebbly beach from the garden, whilst the sandy shores of Church Cove can be reached within a 20-minute walk along the coast path.

Safety Notice Please note that as with our other coastal or waterside properties, Sea Cottage is set not far from the cliff edge. Whilst access is restricted a signed safety disclaimer is required and it is recommended that children of all ages are supervised.

Food and wine

• DIY: The property is available on a self-catered basis. There is a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and large fridge/freezer
• In-house cuisine: Breakfast is supplied for the first day and you will find cupboards stocked with essentials such as biscuits, tea and coffee. Outside caterers are available by prior arrangement.
• Eating out: Two-minutes walk to the famous, award-winning Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe that serves fantastic Cornish fare and local ales (01326 240406, www.halzephron-inn.co.uk); Trelowarren’s award-winning New Yard Restaurant offers a sumptuous seasonal menu showcasing the best local produce (01326 221595); the cliff-top Mullion Cove serves great food with a gob-smacking view (01326 240328).
